Frequently Asked Questions
What versions of Windows do you support? Do you support Linux?
At this time our client backup software supports most current versions of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server for backups of file and image based system backups. Linux currently supports file level only backups.
Do you periodically download and check the backups to make sure they can be restored?
We currently monitor backups for issues during the backup process, however you will be responsible for making sure the data is checked periodically to make sure the data can be restored. We recommend either monthly or quarterly mock restores of data to make sure backups can be restored. If you would like us to do a quarterly mock restore we can do this for you for an additional fee just let us know.
What if I need more than 2TB of storage for my backups?
Not an issue we can increase the size of all of our plans at the price of $25 per an additional 1TB of storage. Just open a ticket and we will help you get the storage you need.
What kind of support is included with my backup plan?
We provide support for the client backup software in setting up backup jobs and help with restores of files from your online backups.
What is the main difference between Business Server and Business Server VM Plans?
The Business Server Plan is for backing up a single server while the Business Server VM plan can backup not only the server itself but any kind of Hyper-V virtual machines that might be on the server as well.
I need a backup plan with more storage or more features can you help?
While we would like to be able to help everyone with a backup solution our solution may not fit your particular use case scenario. However we have knowledge of other backup methods and solutions and would be happy to point you in the right direction. Just contact us and tell us what you are looking for and trying to do.
